Hillary Clinton Halloween Costume: How to Dress like Mrs. Clinton for Halloween!

P
Halloween is coming fast upon us, and it's time to get ready! Here, I'll be explaining how to dress up like Hillary Clinton for Halloween. The very first step on this list is to figure out what you're wearing. For dressing up as Hillary Clinton, this is very easy.

Clothing:

Hillary Clinton dresses very conservatively. She is a woman of power, social stature and is always in the public eye.

She strives to look classy, and professional almost 24/7!

The very best thing to wear when trying to dress like Hillary Clinton is, of course, a suit dress.

A suit dress is a suit jacket (like the ones business-men wear), but it is paired with a long skirt and sometimes a blouse.

There are different prints and colors widely available, but to really look like Hillary Clinton, you need to stick to solid colors, without prints.

My first choice would be a Navy blue suit dress.

For shoes, definitely choose a color that matches your outfit (or just plain black).

Flat, slip-on loafer-like shoes are the best for this. Like the ones seen in this picture:

Jewelry:

A faux-pearl necklace is an absolute must, for dressing up as Hillary Clinton! The necklace should fit well around the neck, not like Marge Simpson's, but a little looser.

A cute, yet granny-ish pin applied to your suit jacket lapel is a very nice touch, as well as some pearl earrings or silver/faux-diamond stud earrings of another kind.

Makeup:

Hillary Clinton wears almost no makeup at all. Of course she wears face-makeup, so definitely start there.

You might want to wear blue/gray contact lenses if you have dark or green/hazel eyes.

A pink or maroon lipstick works well, and a rosy blush applied to the middle of the cheeks is a nice touch.

Hair:

Hillary Clinton's hair might be kind of hard to duplicate, especially if your hair is long, dark or both.

If it's long, and you don't want to cut it, a wig can be bought from any Halloween store that closely resembles her hair. Just pile your hair on the top of your head, and place the wig snugly on top of it.

If your hair is dark, and you don't want to bleach or dye it, a wig is also probably your best option.

But if you have shorter, lighter hair, this will be a lot easier for you.

Part your hair drastically on the left side of your head. Take a fairly large-barreled curling iron and curl medium-sized (2-3 inch) sections of hair away from your head, and under for more volume, and to get that curled-under look she loves so much.

Do this on both sides of the part, and in the back.

Straightening the very bottom of your hair could help, too!

Props:

The best prop to bring along would, of course, have to be Bill Clinton. :)

But for extra comic relief, you could carry along a fake liquor bottle.
