Hillary Uncensored: What is This New Documentary All About and How May it Affect Her Campaign?

Justin
Like always, as election time approaches, a lot of negative stories get brought up about the various candidates. As the 2008 election approaches, the usual trend is continuing with a film about the Democratic Senator, Hillary Clinton. Hollywood has a film in production which outlines illegal activities committed by Hillary Clinton. The film is called Hillary Uncensored, and its popularity is spreading across the internet like wildfire. There is a preview trailer available here on Google Video with currently over a million views, and they don't look to slow down any time soon. With the high level of attention this video has been receiving lately, it has the potential to sway many voters' opinions and have a highly negative affect on her reputation and campaign.

The driving force behind this movie is Peter Franklin Paul. In this documentary, he reveals information about his personal lawsuit with former president, Bill Clinton, and also some information about his wife, Hillary Clinton. Hillary Uncensored talks about many occasions where Hillary Clinton has broken the laws in her professional career. One of the most significant cases Paul talks about is a felony she committed that he has video footage of for proof. He has a video of a phone call that took place in July of 2000 where she knowingly accepted a donation that was equivalent to over 1.2 million dollars. Accepting such a donation is a felony that carries a prison sentence up to five years. Hillary Uncensored also notes how Hillary Clinton has been able to keep the lawsuits relatively private, which has finally come to an end. Peter Paul's film offers many ideas, and he has evidence to back them up.

Hillary Clinton is currently one of the Democratic front-runners, if not the front-runner, for the 2008 presidential election, but will this documentary sway enough voters' minds to change that? Personally, I would have to say that it will not. There are always scandals and illegal practices in the political world, and many people have come to expect them. Whether or not this will have a big impact or not will have to be seen, but people are not going to believe everything they see. Even with substantial amounts of proof, many people are still going to be skeptical of the allegations which are imposed by Hillary Uncensored. However, with highly popular competitors such as Barack Obama and John Edwards running against her for the opportunity to run for president, any negative information that comes out does have some potential to be very harmful.

Whether or not Hillary Uncensored has a significant effect on Hillary Clinton's campaign comes down to one aspect of the film, validity. If the viewers of the film come away from it thinking it was just a scheme to hurt Clinton's image or make money, then it will have minimal impact. However, if some hard evidence and details get people motivated against Hillary Clinton, it could have some serious effects on her political campaign. Although it's possible that Hillary Uncensored could potentially give other candidates an edge against her in the 2008 race for presidency, I don't think this will be the case.

Hillary Clinton is a larger threat to our democracy than Islamic fascism.

Those Clintons are up to no good....

Sounds like another "Clinton Chronicles" to me. That 1993 farce was the best comedy I saw that year. There were so many false accusations in it that many participants later backed away. It was later revealed that many were paid to make up allegations. I would not be surprised if some of the usual gang of suspects were involved in this project. Peter Paul might be an appropriate name. "Sometimes you feel like a nut".

I'm voting for her no matter what so it wouldn't sway me away from her :)

I'll be on the lookout for this. Anything that can sway voters NOT to vote for Clinton is A OK in my book. Hopefully this guy is legit and not just out to make a buck. Thanks
