Hip Hop Dance classes are offered at two age levels: Hip Hop I Dance classes for 7-12 year olds on Thursday from 6:15 to 7:15 and Hip Hop II Dance classes for 13 and up on Thursday from 7:15 to 8:15. These are fast paced Hip Hop Dance classes that improved flexibility, burns calories, increases stamina and tones all major muscle groups. The class includes a thorough warm-up, strength elements, hip hop progressions and choreography. Founded in 1985, the Theatre Arts is one of the most respected performing arts schools in Oklahoma providing a nurturing, artistic atmosphere for children and young adults. Theatre Arts students have appeared locally and nationally in productions. The 2008 Summer Class Schedule begins June 16^th through August 8^th with 8 week class sessions. Hip Hop Dance classes are on Monday from 4:30 to 5:30 for ages 7-9 and ages 10-12. Teen Hip Hop Dance classes are on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 with adult Jazzy/Hip Hop Dance classes from 8:00 to 9:00.

Charges are $100 for 1 class per week for the 8-week session, $80 for 2^nd dance class, $45 for 3^rd dance class, $30 for 4^th dance class with an enrollment fee of $15 assessed at the time of enrollment.

Hip Hop and Streetdance classes are offered for the summer 2008 schedule on Thursdays. Beginners/Intermediate Hip Hop classes from 5:45, Advanced Hip Hop classes from 6:45 and Adult Hip Hop classes from 7:45 to 8:45. Tuition for 1 hour classes is $45. Appropriate clothing, tennis shoes, and hair out of the face, Spin gloves and hats as directed by the instructor are needed. No jeans or short shorts for Hip Hop classes are permitted. Examples of acceptable clothing include: Jazz pants, Long and Capri length sweat pants for girls and long basketball shorts or sweats pants for boys.
