Historical Importance of Today's Alternative Media
Conspiracy Theorists or Historians in the Making?
At first glance you may dismiss this website as a totally lunatic fringe forum with posters gleaming attention by just throwing out dates of total destruction of the earth or claiming to have inside information to the next terrorist attack on US soil. After sifting through some postings that have no redeeming value you may find some thoughts and views that may surprise you. There are a group of regular contributors and moderators who provide thought provoking and alternative views on current events. As we have seen recently, the United Sates Government has been monitoring the Internet, and rightfully so, to protect us from those that wish us harm. Unfortunately, it seems that those who represent a differing view on topical events may be viewed as unpatriotic or may even fall into the category of enemy combatants. The folks who contribute to the forum on www.godlikeproductions.com are aware of what some people might view as limitations being put on our Constitutional freedoms. Typical postings discuss the reasons for current global conflicts and even the fact that these conflicts may be part of a pre-scripted plot by a very few who control the course of global economics and the general course of human events.
This fertile ground for ideas and discussion may be looked upon by future scholars as one of the most important media outlets born of the Internet. True Democracy was born in Greece. Democracy flourished in the city-states of Greece mainly because of the ability of each city-state to hold open forums for discussion. Every citizen could influence their lawmakers and know what decisions were being made in the absence of lobbyists and special interest groups. In America, those open forums are impossible to be held for the entire population. The only thing that keeps the population aware of what lawmakers are thinking and doing is what journalists report. If journalists are afraid to publish or report something that may be considered anti-government then we the people have no knowledge of what thoughts are steering our government. Alternative sources of discussion and reporting like www.godlikeproductions.com may be the very last bastion of free thinking. Historians may look back and see this type of Internet communication as the precursor to thinking that influences the next form of government.

Post a CommentJust read the disclaimer on the GLP home page and that tells you everything you need to know. It's not a real discussion forum, but rather a board that has insiders posting inflammatory threads so that they can observe the reactions. I believe they call it role-playing. I got banned when I tried to expose one of their more notorious insider posters, PACNWGuy.
As other posters here have already recommended, I too would advise others to stay away from their little "experiment" and find other websites hosting true discussion forums.
I was really taken with GLP and felt a kinship and warmth towards a few posters, but I am mystified by GLP's banning policies. I contact them and hear nothing back and I don't know what to make of it. Been banned twice now. If you do a search there of "BANNED" you'll see tons of threads about getting banned. It has been great to read these comments here because it confirms what I already knew, that it's not me necessarily.
i am banned from the site although I CANT EVEN REMEMBER BEING ON THERE FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS AT LEAST, NEVER SIGNED UP TO THE FORUM AT ANY POINT IN TIME OR NOTHING, IT MUST BE A OPERATION!

Godlike Productions is involved in psychological operations , sometimes targeting specific individuals. There is evidence to indicate that some of the moderators and especially the owners have an agenda to stir up anti semitic sentiment by defending zionism as representing jews in general at the same time they vehemently attack anti zionists as anti semetic. There are also regularly threats allowed to be posted and remain as well as the personal information of those who were threatened, the goal is intimidation.
GLP sucks. Read up on Tavistock, Stanford Research Institute, Jason Lucas, and C2 Media, Ltd. (who are the producers of LOP.com). This is a social engineering site where they gage the reactions of those who care to post. Not a good place to be. There are alternatives!
One word: Tavistock. Look it up.

is the influx of distractors and debunkers who will purposely infiltrate a thread that's really getting to the heart of matters, for the purpose of throwing it off track...
fortunately most seasoned GLP Veterans don't let that happen....

I am Kim Jong-Il, Dear Leader of the Glorious Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, and I too post at GLP.
For discussions on Korean issues please come by and post anything with the word Korea in the title.
As for the ones complaining of being banned, they were either spamming, or making threats, or attacking the host.
The same thing happens at any forum.
I have been to dozens of forums that claim to have free speech and been banned from most, not because of the content, but because of who I am.
I have not ever found a forum that has such liberal content policies.
You can say almost anything you want.
Filtering through the crap posts can be a chore when banal children show up in force, but thats the price you pay for unregistered posting and a reputation for allowing anything.

I love GLP. I go there for all the latest breaking news from around the world. I have learned a lot about many things there. Some of the posters are Mensa quality.
