History of the Clothes Dryer

In June of 1892, a patent was granted to Mr. George T. Sampson for a clothes dryer. His dryer used heat from a stove in order to dry the clothes and is considered an example of a machine that was like a ventilator.

It wasn't until around 1915 that electrical clothes dryers made their way onto the scene.
