History Steals the Show

Oscar Movies Forever Gold

Melissa R. Mendelson
History is like a diamond forever beautiful, the heart of eternity. Its flaws captivate us, entrance us with the whispers of heroism. Dreams are the glints of light held in its embrace, black swans that dance and dance. Brilliance is the glitter, the water within stone, and the future is bright with promise, creating a new world like a social network. Time is the sweet fragrance, history unfolding like a red, red rose, and we cheer with the fighter that never surrenders, a man with the heart of a lion. We stand strong on the land across time, remembering what was and what will always be, and his voice, a king's speech strikes the chords to our soul. And now the curtain rises once more, and we stand, applaud because history steals the show, Oscar movies forever gold.

We can never forget. Cinema will never let us forget. The centuries that rest behind us rise once more. The heart of the dragon is fierce, a legend that gives us hope to believe, Bruce Lee. Wars raged once upon time, and we return to meet the heroes head on, challenged by their trials and sacrifice, The Last Samurai, Saving Private Ryan, and Glory. Differences divide a nation, conquer, but we struggle and rebuild, Blood Diamond, The Last of the Mohicans, and Robin Hood. Worlds before our own tell us of where we have been, but where are we going? Will we find heroes of the olden days like Wyatt Earp, King George IV, Mickey Ward, and the Cinderella Man? What dreams will wait to shine across the silver reels of time, Inception, spiraling across and beyond?

And never will we forget those, who inspired our dreams. Hollywood is iconic and swims in a sea of legend. Stars here and now gone will forever shine. Their struggle, their passion are the fires that feed our heart and soul, and we are theirs as they melt into character, pull back layers to reveal all inside, and as they rise on the wings of hope, love, and dedication. Some might fall, but that is to remind us that they are human, conflict etched in diamond. But they still dream, and we dream with them. We hold to their inspiration, hoping to one day stand next to them, but now, we take a seat and honor their talent, their vision, and their masterpiece, movies well-deserved of an Oscar nomination.

Hollywood is the red, red rose on Oscar night. The stars are brilliant, dazzling, and simply beautiful. Tears and smiles touch our hearts, and words of gratitude envelop the night. Hands hold, squeeze, and embraces are shared. They are all winners, whether with Oscar in hand or not. They made it, and we remember where they were before tonight. Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch got into the ring and punched his way across that yellow, brick road. Colin held our hearts and stole our breath across the pages of Bridget Jones's Diary. What's eating Gilbert Grape? Does Leonardo know? The kids are alright because their dreams are alive tonight, well-deserved, and history sparks from the reels, stealing us away into legends and legacy.

The King's Speech reigns supreme, but The Fighter takes his shot, winning awards in two rounds. Promise shines in the eyes of youth, Jesse Eisenberg, and this dedicated talent will take flight again. Black Swans dance and bow, a true dreamer that stepped forth from the Garden State to here and now, a brilliant star, Natalie Portman. Movies across the sea flow back to our heart and soul, breathing life into dream, and these are the moments to cherish, memories never to forget. And we will never forget history, the birth of film-making, and how this world was molded from coal to diamond in the hands of talent, strong talent that will shine and shine again. And maybe, one day, we will shine with them, but now we laugh, we smile, and we cry. We're left speechless like the wolverine jumping in his chair, and we love. We love the dedication that tells us to never, never give up on what we believe. Struggle for life is challenge, but we will achieve. Our dreams will come, and a future waits to welcome them in its warm embrace. And we will look back to where we begin, and a new world will rise, inspired by the stories that we will tell.
