Word tattoo was borrowed from "Polynesian" and, it means "To Mark" or "Strike Twice". Syllable "Ta" means "hand" (used twice for repetitive nature of action) and "u" means "Color". "Tebori" is the traditional hand method. "Irezumi" means "insert ink" or western style machine or tattoo using tebori. First tattoo was created by accident, a person had a small wound, and he rubbed it with ashes from fire, than he saw, that mark stayed permanently.
Tattoos can be removed by exposing the tattoo to laser light. Laser light will break the ink from pigment and that ink will be than absorbed by skin and tattoo will be get removed. How tattoo will be getting printed on your skin??
Making tattoo will place the pigment into skin's "dermis" i.e. the layer of tissue underlying the "epidermis". Now, this pigment will be get dispersed throughout "Homogenized Layer" down through the epidermis and upper dermis, where presence of foreign material activates the "immune system" to attain the particles. Preceding the same, the damaged epidermis flakes away and, "granulation tissues" are formed deeper in skin. These tissues later converted to connective tissue. The presence of pigment is permanent there.
Tattoos serve the following purposes:
