God's Plan features Young Buck of the G-Unit and The Outlawz. The Outlawz spit a verse that remembers their mentor the late great Tupac Shakur. Young Buck spits a very strong verse that adds to the whole feel of the song.
Step My Game Up Remix features Little Brother and R&B singer Dion. The song is very solid and Little Brother deliver very solid verses. Dion delivers a catchy chorus and a solid verse of his own.
Back On The Grind features Riz, Kurupt and Dion. The song features a very West Coast sounding beat. The song is very catchy and features a very strong chorus from Dion.
My Piano features Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and Dion. The song features Hi-Tek playing the piano effortlessly. The song also features Hi-Tek spitting on the track. Ghostface and Raekwon deliver very solid verses on the hyped up track.
Time features Talib Kweli and Dion. The combination of Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek has always been highly successful. This song however falls flat and is not as catchy as previous efforts together.
Know Me features R&B singer Jonell. The song is a very solid neo-soul track. Jonell's vocal effortlessly flows over the simplistic but very solid track. The song is one of the better songs on the album.
Come Get It (Tekstrumentals) is a very well produced instrumental track. The song by itself is almost full enough to be released as a song in its own right. The song shows just how talented Hi-Tek is as a producer.
Outtro is another very solid track produced by Hi-Tek. The song finds Hi-Tek borrowing slightly from T-Pain's playbook showcasing the Antares Autotune. But the Autotune is not grating on the ears.
The Hi-Teknology series has always been critically acclaimed, and this album is no different. It is refreshing to hear up-and-coming artists with proven musical heavyweights. Hi-Teknology 3: Underground gets 8 out of 10. If you are a fan of producer Hi-Tek, make sure you pick up his new album Hi-Teknology 3: Underground when it is available in stores on December 11.
