HIV AIDS - the Final Call

As soon as these words pops up in mind, an unknown trembling fear shakes the body and sometimes even send a chill down the spy, which we may be aware of or may not be but surely it does so. Of course it's obvious because the final picture which starts dancing in front of our eyes is DEATH- the most formidable identity. But do we really deserve such a horrible death? No....never..... Sadly, it's often seen because the mental trauma and turbulence that patient bears apparently makes a persons living body into a dead one. The real cause lying underneath the issue is not so grave as we generally assume and one of the common factor hindering it is knowledge, the knowledge of the past and the knowledge of the present.

The arduous labor of doctors all around the world has brought SOME remission from this killer disease but this lack of knowledge is acting as fuel to the burning fire, which actually was in the recent past, and the rest itself is already scorching. As a result the remaining precious life gets eclipsed under the shadow of psychological hell. So the most important concern regarding this issue is to have maximum of information which will wipe out the negative elements infused by others and rumors. And yes this exactly will be the beginning of real treatment because once when one becomes conscious of true problem, much of the energy is regained and that bolsters in gathering courage, confidence and boldness to fight the disease and gradually life begins to take its normal path which it should and is supposed to.

There is a common notion among the masses that HIV means the person is immoral, anti-social, lacks values and sex has become such a hypocritical topic that everyone will entertain in private but when it comes to public they will miss no chance in criticizing others. Everyone knows that HIV spreads through unprotected sexual contact but should etch deep in nerves that it is also feasible through INFECTED NEEDLES/SYRINGES/BLADES, TRANSFUSION OF INFECTED BLOOD AND BLOOD PRODUCTS AND FROM INFECTED PREGNANT MOTHER TO CHILD. So, it does not mean that AID's patient is immoral but a victim of cursed fate.

There are many things that one should know about AIDS and that can really make life more comfortable. AIDS can take more than 8-10 years to develop HIV infection. HIV positive or HIV infected can LIVE SYMPTOMS FREE LIFE FOR YEARS. It is also important to know that HIV is not transmitted by casual contacts, shaking hands, SOCIAL HUGGING AND KISSING, SHARING UTENSILS WHILE EATING TOGETHER, COUGHING, SNEEZING, SWIMMING INA COMMON POOL, EMBRACING, ANY INSECT OR mosquito bite etc. It can be transmitted only if the body fluids like blood, semen and vaginal fluid come in contact with body fluids of an HIV infected or AIDS patient.

AIDS is a serious disease and more serious is that there is no COMPLETE cure till date. Mankind is trying its best to fight this deadly disease and each one of us has to protect ourselves. The AIDS virus gradually damages immune system that fights infections and diseases and as immune system becomes less and less capable, even minor infections can lead to serious life threatening conditions. There are some medicines called Antiretroviral drugs( ARVS ) which slows down the damage that HIV causes to immune system, reduces the viral load and increases longevity and improves the quality of life of the PLWHA (People living with HIV/AIDS). The even better news is that many people now consider HIV infection a manageable, long-term illness.

One thing we need to fathom is that the Death has to swallow each one of us, either today or tomorrow and will spare none. It's inevitable and destined and when we are aware that it has to suck us one day, than why to live in depression or fear of premature death. Life is making the most of now, blossoming it with the sweetest and delicious fragrance of goodness. AIDS take long and long time to show its true color and by that time much of the beauty is accomplished. Remember life is even more beautiful than we can ever explore it and so relax and live the offered precious life in the best way possible.
