A person infected with HIV/Aids is receiving a death sentence or a life of poor health. The disease is fatal and all the hope about cocktails putting the disease into permanent remission is overstated. Healthy people should be on guard against infection and be as cautious as they are as when crossing the street. The disease is more deadly than cancer and its danger should never be understated.
A law can be passed that requires HIV/AIDS patients to be implanted with microchips in a bid to prevent them from infecting others. There are millions of infected individuals that are spreading this deadly infection to the innocent. This law if enacted would save the lives of an estimated 200 thousand people each year. Implanting the microchip would warn others about sexual contact with a disease carrier. A distributed scanner would help innocents detect the microchip and save their lives. Human rights activists are expected to oppose such a law on the grounds that it violates civil rights. But it is not a civil right to have the opportunity to infect an unsuspecting lover.
