Hobo Halloween Costume: An Original, Homemade Costume

This is a very simple and unique look that does not cost a lot of money to make, it is all original, with things you probably have around the house anyway.

Get an old suite jacket, it can be a little to big or even a little to small for the person wearing it, sew onto the elbows a patch, use different colors of just some old material you may have around the house, if you have no material maybe you have an old shirt or pants you can make your patches from.

Then get an old pair of jeans big or small they can be rolled up if to long, make them look kind of holy ,if you have to cut the holes then wash them in the washer so they look more ragged.

Use an old ugly rope for a belt, use black shoe polish for make-up, if you prefer you can get black halloween make-up, but the black shoe polish works great 30 years ago i used that on my kids and for the most part that also makes your costume still cost $0 to make, just use a little, very little to make face and hands look dirty, over the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead and just a little on the outside of the hands not inside, you may want to eat some candy.

You can have this costume for a girl or boy, but a girl has another choice in looks, an old worn looking dress cut raggedy, and for both costumes use an old pair of mix-matched shoes,.

Hair, rat that hair up good like you have not brushed it in a year, make sure you eat chocolate to make your teeth dirty.

This was the main costume for all five of my children. and can be great for the whole family no matter how old you are.
