Hocking College is a small school that appeals to people in the area. Hocking is a nice school and it gives residents of the area the opportunity to get an education. Programs are limited and this is a two-year school. Hocking College is home to the Great Outdoor Adventure Show, formerly known as The Paul Bunyan Show. Hocking College is semi out dated. For this area it is a nice enough educational opportunity.
The staff at Hocking College is not overly helpful, and I believe part of the ob description to work here must include the idea to put up as many roadblocks as possible for incoming students. To attend Hocking College you must have a strong desire to get an education or you will give up. It is so hard to actually complete your enrollment. I have been completing the obstacles for over two months now and I am as clueless as ever about what is going on.
Courses of study offered at Hocking College include Holistic Health and Wellness, Forestry, Ranger, Nursing, Business and Heavy Equipment Operation. Tuition for Ohio residents is reasonably priced at about one thousand dollars per quarter. Hocking College is a small school. The average class size is twenty-five students to one instructor. The campus is small. Three residence halls are available for student housing as well as many apartments. Apartments are not very nice in Nelsonville, and they are over priced. For about seven hundred dollars a month you can rent an apartment with two bedrooms. The apartments are not clean or in nice condition. However in a college town you can get away with that.
Hocking College offers an indoor pool, archery range, and climbing wall; as well as a computer lab, library and several campus eateries. Hocking College is up and coming and as the population increases the college will grow. Hocking College offers a variety of classes and many area high school students also benefit from an education at Hocking College.

Post a CommentI have a business degree from there. That and a buck will get you a cup of coffee at Speedway. My current employer does not consider Hocking College a real college and refers to it as Tinker-Tech. As we all know until a few years ago it was a technical school.
