Hold On

Excerpt from the Forth Coming Poetry Chapbook "Sistah Play'in Savior"

KyhaTheWriter
heat waved
a sex crazed
little girl
she never wanted much
of this world
her brain was
too uneducated to stake a claim
to a better life with no stress
no strain...

deranged and out of control
her high was broken
with personal vengeance
a body full of hate and dope
beer bottles and spray cans
built the life she's living

everyday scars reminding her
of her past
they reveal her
struggles and how long they last
they conceal her
shame of jealousy
and rage
constantly reminding her
of the social understanding
she craves

well bruised ego
with no hope
for redemption
her guardian angel left her
with no replacement
she represents a soul dead
and out of creation
the only hold she had on reality is lost
now we must use intervention......-
