Hold the Lemon: Stop Asking for Lemon in Your Restaurant Beverage

And Here's Why!

Malina Debrie
Have you heard the saying when life hands you a lemon, make lemonade? Well that old saying is still quite true, except when you dine out. Microbiologist have come to the conclusion that anyone eating out might be getting a little more than they requested when asking for fresh fruit or veggies.

We know there are employees working in restaurants and fast food establishments who might not practice cleanliness as required. Unless you have someone monitoring the actions of each employee going into and coming out of a restroom, placing a sign on the door that states "All employees must wash their hands before leaving the restroom" means absolutely nothing to the person who does not care about cleanliness. Especially when that person has been angered by a low evaluation or a customer who complained.

When dining out, you might want to rethink asking for or ordering anything that is not coming to your table hot off the grill. Even then, you might rethink eating out entirely after viewing this video:

I don't know about you, but I will never ask for lemons again.
