Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa and the like, come up fast! School is back in session, stores have are displaying Halloween themed items, and before you know it, the holiday season will be here. Below, in no particular order, find some wonderful activities to do during this busy season of the year in Florida.

Enjoy a Thanksgiving Buffet at the Mission Inn Resort and Club this year. Not only will there be the traditional items, turkey and stuffing, but there will also be prime rib, smoked fishes, cheeses and more. Enjoy in the delight of Hannukah this year in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at their 2nd annual Hannukah Festival. The event is $10 for to get in, and anyone is welcome. There will be live entertaiment (singing and dancing by local performers) and rides for the kids. There will also be plenty of food (kosher too) crafts, and vendors for holiday shopping. Parking is free.

The-Childrens-Christmas-Party-of-Jacksonville
This is a party for children who are less fortunate than a lot of us. Lines of wonderful kids will wait for gifts, be greeted by Santa, possibly win a bike and more. This is a non-profit organization. Make a donation or tell someone you know in need about this special holiday event. Giving is the greatest gift.
