Sun, fun and a cool breeze are what you find in San Diego, but they also have great holiday activities. Below find a few fun ways to celebrate the holiday season in and around San Diego.

Father Joe's Annual Thanksgiving 5K Run/Walk
The fund-raising is for meals - Father Joe's tries to serve as many meals as it can to those who need it. There is usually a free continental breakfast and beer garden. What a great way to kick off your thanksgiving holiday. Last year they gave out free t-shirts to those who got there first.
November 24th, 8am. Balboa Park in San Diego.

LFJCC Hannuka Happening
Last year there was crafts, prizes, silent auction, raffles, food and more to celebrate holiday of Hannuka. Each year they expect over 2000 people. Located in La Jolla, 20 minutes North and West of San Diego at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center 126 Executive Drive.

A Christmas Tabernacle
Celebrate for three days. In it's first year, this family friendly venue will have a fun zone for kids with puppets, workshops and so much more as well as a food court, concerts, and plenty of activities for everyone to donate to someone in need. A great community activity.
December 16th - 18th, 11am - 8pm

Big Night San Diego
This is the place to be for New Years Eve. Located at The Hilton San Diego Bayfront, this party will be a lot of fun. WIth many balloon drops, excellent food, discounted hotel rooms, party favors, 12 themed party rooms and so much more, this is the complete New Years Eve package. Get ready to dance to plenty of different music whether it be a band or DJ.
Since is is an all-inclusive night, that you pay for in advance, once your night starts, you no longer have to worry about buying anything.
