Gym Bag Goodies.
This can be modified for yoga, hiking, tennis, many other activities. Think of a beauty sample kit from Burt's Bees, a pack of favorite gym socks, hair bands, metal water bottle, even another set of weight lifting gloves. Either way, any fitness buff can always use the practical little things.
One Year Magazine Subscription.
Who doesn't love to receive a good magazine by mail every month? There has got to be more to expect besides bills. Now print magazines are competing with the on-line versions, so there are bound to be deep discounts. Freebies are often thrown in with the deal as well. (Go to the end of the article see the latest offers).
More Months on Their Gym Membership.
Often this can be payed for at the front desk. Whether he/she pays yearly, or a monthly draft from their account, anyone can gift more time for a member. A receipt will be printed out for your records, sometimes along with cute "gift card" for the member. All you need is a full name and the ability to ID the member (in case several members have the same name, like, John Smith) from a photo on the database. Just enclose the receipt in a card with a message, and be prepared for the squeal of joy when he/she opens it.
Fancy Lunch Bag.
Don't let your special hard body carry gym snacks in a raggedy plastic bag. Pick up a reusable one instead. Some also come with containers. No more squished pb&j sandwiches.
Herbal Tea Sets. The herbal tea isle in the local grocery is ridiculous. The local tea store can be confusing. You want them to be able to unwind at the end of a long day with a nice cup of tea, but know they haven't quite figured out what they like. Go on-line and order a big sampler set for them. Or visit Teavana and get a personal recommendation to buy. They may even share some with you.
Fruit of the Month.
While on-line, Why not send over a fruit of the month to them? You can chose how little or how much to send. Like a magazine subscription, it's a gift that lasts all year long.
Gift Card for Vegan Restaurant.
Some places often cost more than what the budget allows. Give the gift of good eating. Make the gift card amounts in small increments like ten to fifteen dollars, or consider several local restaurants. That way he/she can treat themselves several times over the year.
Now was that so hard? It just goes to show that if you just pay a little attention, it's very easy to buy for that special fitness buff in your life. Here's to a healthy new year.
