Holiday Gifts for Professional Truckers Under $20

Christmas is right around the corner, and soon those hard-to-buy-for people will be first and foremost on your mind. Got a trucker in the family? These hard working folks aren't as difficult to buy for as you might think! You can find useful gifts any truck driver would appreciate for under $20 each! Whether you want to pick up one for a stocking stuffer, or make a grand package out of several, here are some inexpensive ideas your favorite trucker is sure to love.

Disposable Leather Gloves. Not fancy driving gloves, but heavy gauge leather work gloves make great gifts. Don't buy expensive bands, you can find decent ones at any dollar store. Truckers encounter a lot of automotive grease, which is thick and messy - not something anyone would want in their washing machine. Drivers need heavy leather gloves to work in which can be thrown away without regret. Buy six or eight pairs!

Mini 'Mag' Flashlight. Although the large 'Mag' flashlights are useful and popular, the minis can be purchased for far less a price and make an excellent gift for professional drivers. They're powerful enough to suit the purpose, strong enough to withstand most abuse, and yet small enough to tuck into a pocket. In addition, sometimes drivers need both hands during repairs. The mini lights can be tucked behind an ear or held between teeth if necessary. They're a great stocking stuffer! (And of course, don't forget the extra batteries!)

Zip Ties. Also called Cable Ties or Wire Ties, these little plastic gems come in handy for all sorts of uses, and are something a professional driver cannot be without! They come in numerous sizes, and sometimes even in multi-packs. Pick up an assortment today!

Tuff Stuff Multi Purpose Foam Cleaner. Hands down the best interior cleaner on the market! Tuff Stuff takes fifth wheel grease off even the palest, plushest cab interior. It works on seats, ceilings, walls and floors, and no buckets or mops are required! Even better, clean up is nothing more complicated than a dry rag! Found at Family Dollar stores, this is a must-have product for truck drivers.

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Magic Erasers remove all the little scuffs and scrapes that invariably occur in inside truck cabs (and just about anywhere else!) All that's needed to activate them is a little water. Just a splash of bottled water does the trick, which is why this product works great for truckers! Look for Mr. Clean Magic Erasers in the cleaning sections of Wal-Mart or Family Dollar stores.

Pledge Disposable Wipes. Pledge is one of the best anti-static, anti-dust products for use in trucks. The problem with the cans of spray is that overspray gets everywhere, and smears windows and gauges. Lucky for us, the good folks at Johnson-Diversey expanded their line to include trucker-friendly pop up wipes. Quick to use, disposable, and not at all messy, these little wipes are a practical gift for truckers.

Windex. An excellent, streak-free cleaner for windows and mirrors, Windex is another must-have item for a truck driver. The wipes are good, but as a trucker gift, liquid form is best. Drivers have found a surprising secondary use for liquid Windex. It can be sprayed on tires and air hoses to find small leaks! When the area is sprayed with Windex, exiting air will blow bubbles. This shows the driver exactly where the problem is located, even when there's not obvious damage. Believe it or not, that little bottle of Windex can save your favorite professional driver some costly repairs on the side of the road!

Professional Truck Drivers don't have to be hard to shop for this year! Practical, easy-to-find gifts can make their jobs just a little easier, and be quite appreciated too!
