Enjoy the Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees during the holiday season at the Pink Palace Museum in Memphis, Tennessee. This festival features many holiday characters such as elves, penguins, bears, and of course, the endearing and famous Santa Claus. This is said to be one of this season's most magical experience as thousands of sparkling lights will be shining from the dozens of fully-decorated trees lining the mezzanine area of the museum. On November 17, get a chance to see Santa Claus fly in by helicopter as he makes the Enchanted Forest (Bovine Exhibit Hall) his temporary home. You and your kids can pose with him for $10. This is also your chance to get an idea of how the rest of the world celebrate Christmas when you check out "Holidays Around the World" with a model train working its way around Gingerbread Village.

Oak Court Mall is simply eye-catching during the holidays. Beautiful holiday decors with dazzling lights surround the entire landscape of this amazing wooded area filled with flowering plants and ivy-covered trees. A Hall of Fame recipient of "Memphis' Most Beautiful Business", this is definitely one of the many places in Memphis that you would want to see. This year, the mall will host the arrival of Santa Claus as it officially begins its holiday traditions and of course, the shopping season. And if you're a pet lover, bring your cute ones to the "Paws and Claus" pet photo night on November 11th & 18th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

The biggest lighting event in Memphis that will be featuring new light displays including a million light bulbs (literally) and a 36-foot-long riverboat. Other zoo activities include horse-drawn carriage tours ($3/person), festive snowy entrance, pictures with Santa, candle decorating, sweet treats from Krispy Kr�me, "Dasher" and "Dancer" (two of Santa's reindeer), Holiday Simulator Ride Arctic Adventure in 3D ($3/ride) and a whole lot more. Not only will you enjoy the spectacular light display but you will have a lot of fun with friends and members of the family with all the adventures that the zoo has in store for all its visitors.

The Pyramid Arena is hailed as one of the world's most uniquely designed structure and it also happens to be the third largest pyramid in the world surpassing Tag Mahal's height. It is situated on the bank of the Mississippi River, staying true to the namesake, "Memphis on the Nile River". Even from the comforts of your car, the lights all over the arena will most likely fascinate you with its grandeur.
Graceland

If you're an Elvis fan, this is the place to visit for the holidays. Graceland in Memphis, TN allows you to experience the King of Rock 'n Roll's idea of holiday decors with the most elaborate light displays, large Santa and his sleigh, and a life-size Nativity. What's so special about this place is the chance to see the original holiday decors that Elvis himself used when he was still alive. If you know the King, then you certainly know what to expect of his decors - bright and flashy!
