Are you looking for some places to take the children that are fun for the entire family? Don't want to spend too much money but want to enjoy the Christmas season? Here are a few communities and homes which open themselves to the public for viewing during the holiday season. Communities the entire family will enjoy!

Christmas Circle

Christmas Circle is celebrating it's 50th year running. Christmas Circle is open to the public to walk or drive through. It features homes which are decorated in lights and festive decorations! The Circle is open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily and opens approximately on December 10th. The Circle is located on Whitney and Mankato between First and Second Avenues, south of H Street.

Oviedo Street (Christmas Card Lane)

Oviedo Street, or better known as Christmas Card Lane has homes that have bigger than life Christmas displays. Here you can walk or drive through and see homes with lights and decorations which the whole family will enjoy. The homes are best seen if you park and walk through, rather than drive. Homes open to viewing on December 10th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Oviedo Street is about 20 miles North of Chula Vista located in Rancho Penasquitos.

Jingle Bell Hill

Jingle Bell Hill or better known as Pepper Drive Lights features home which are decorated with lights and festive decorations! You can drive through the neighborhood or park and walk. Homes are open to viewing starting December 1st from dusk to 10 p.m. Jingle Bell Hill is located in El Cajon which is 17 miles north of Chula Vista.

Bob's Wonderland

Bod Anderson goes all out to spread a little holiday cheer during the season. His open is decorated inside and out and he opens it up for all to visit. All he asks is that you bring one canned food item which he will donate to the Salvation Army. Bob's Wonderland is located about 12 miles north of Chula Vista at 7171 Cornell Ave. in La Mesa. His home is open to visitors from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. starting on December 1st.

Make the Christmas season rememberable by visiting the above communities with your children. Also you might want to think about opening up your community to others in years to come so they can enjoy the Christmas season as much as you have.
