Holiday Office Party Ideas

Terra Husser Farrell
~ Instead of having a evening holiday party, Choose a location where you can have a holiday lunch or even a breakfast. Switching things up a little will change the entire feel of the event. Making the event close to the office will make it easier on people also. Find a location that can host the amount of people that you need. Also make sure to check and see if there are any specific diet requests like vegetarian, allergies etc. Knowing these things will make the event better for everyone. Find out the smoking preference some people don't want to be around smoking and others want to be able to smoke. Find a place that can accommodate this it will make for a more comfortable party.

~ If having the party at night host it at an adult arcade like dave and busters. This kind of venue will allow families to be together and keep everyone entertained. Instead of gifts have everyone pull a name out of a hat and give that person a token/game card for the event. That way everyone will be included in the fun and games. Taking the time to find out what the place has to offer as far as food will benefit the event. There are some people that have different dietary needs then others some eat meat some don't etc. This type of party will be sure to get everyone out of the daily grind at the office.

~ Choose a city landmark restaurant one that has lots of history, having your event at a place like this will be memories that are unforgettable. Having a specialty food that they prepare. A cocktail named after the place and taking lots of pictures will be amazing. Make this a evening party suggest a wearing ties and tell the lady's to go all out. Have a auction during the evening and donate the money raised to a local shelter or mission on behalf of your company.

Hopefully these ideas will get you on the right track. Have a great holiday party!

Choosing a venue that has a little bit of everything for everyone included will make for a great holiday party.
Make sure to find out if the venue can cater to a vegetarian diet and if the venue can accomodate non/smokers.

It's neat to try out unique places. An added bonus is that it can be cheaper a lot of the time and/or can be about a charity.
