This Article Discusses the Essential Holiday Packing List. Don't Head Out on a Vacation, Without Doing This

CB
Holiday "Packing List" is essential before you head out on any vacation. This packing list is meant to highlight things you must not forget, as opposed to things you would normally carry.

Here is a 10 point Holiday Packing List of things you must not forget.

1- The first packing list essential is a jacket. When it comes to clothes, don't forget to keep a jacket handy. Even if where you are going is tropical, the journey may have cold portions. Also, if you plan to continue your fitness routine on the trip, carry your workout clothes.

2- No packing list is complete without a first-aid kit. Even if it is a 2-day trip, you never know when things can go wrong. So your packing list must have a first-aid kit, including, pain killers, band-aids, scissors, cotton, an antiseptic lotion/cream and stomach medication. If your trip is going to include outdoor activities, include some extras. These could include mosquito repellent and also a good sunscreen with proper SPF.

3-
Your packing list Finances should include things like Credit cards (Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted); Cash in the local currency of your destination; Travelers' checks and a Money belt. Money belts may seem silly. But they can be very helpful. Your hands are then free to handle other things.

4- You need to carry an acceptable ID proof throughout your journey. Another important packing list essential. Carry your health insurance card/papers. This is a packing list essential you must never leave on a holiday without.

5- When it comes to toiletries, if your trip is short and your hotel provides you with them, don't carry too much. This is one way to limit your packing list and you can travel light.

6- Always carry comfortable sneakers. You want to feel comfortable while walking on that trip. For women- you never know when your shoe's heal may break or when the strap may give way

7- If you are going on a nature trail, beach trip or a snorkeling trip, your packing list needs to have specific items. You can get help creating that packing list at the following website: The Universal Packing List

8- Your packing list must contain a small torch, cellphone and chargeable batteries. Also, remember to carry all chargers.

9- Carry a travel guide/map. Keep a list of eateries and shopping places handy.

10- If you have a baby, then have a separate packing list for him/her. You don't want to forget something and get all worked up later.

Hope this helps. Happy holidays and have a safe trip! If it's a road-trip check this to Save Petrol / Gas and hence, money.
