Holiday Photo Cards

Christmas cards that contain photos are very popular. While the tradition of sending cards for the holidays has waned, many still enjoy seeing photos of your family and how they have grown over the years. Especially for those families that are separated by large distances and those you don't get to see as often as you would like. Sending a photo Christmas card is sending a small part of yourself to them and allowing them to see you and your family members.

Your options for creating a photo card are vast. They range from your local Walmart or drug store to a professional photographer to online options. Listed below are a variety of online options for you to design and order your cards.

VistaPrint

My favorite place to order printing from. They offer 4 x 8 cards as well as folded cards. You can choose from foil cards and collage cards as well as Holiday Letter designs. VistaPrint will send you a ton of emails once you are in their database but it is really worth it because the offers for free printing are worth it.

Tiny Prints

Lots of beautiful design, a variety of sizes with a price tag attached! In my opinion, expensive, but it might be worth it for a beautiful end product.

ShutterFly

There are a variety of sizes and designs available. Shutterfly is very popular for traditional photo printing so why not use them for both printing photos and Holiday Cards.

Kodak Gallery

If you aren't sure about ordering online, you might feel more confident with a tried a true business in the photo industry.

Snapfish

This is another very popular online printer. They offer a variety of sizes as well as postcards and calendars.

PhotoWorks

A lot of options and a vast price range from PhotoWorks, an American Greetings Company.

This year you many want to consider ordering 4 x 6 postcards. The cost of mailing is less and will save you a lot if your list is large. You can still create a wonderful card with photos and even include a small Christmas letter on the back side while saving money on paper, printing, the lack of an envelope and finally on postage.

We love to get our holiday photo cards from Announcingit.com. They have the folded kind you put your own phots on the front so we can send different photos to friends than we do to our family. This year we did one of their new digital holiday photo cards with our beach vacation photo and it turned out great.
