Cool familiar air
Blows away summer cares
Bringing the holiday season in
There is nothing like the spice
In this season of naughty or nice
As all the festivities begin
People a little sweeter
Their homes a little neater
Since family and friends drove in
It is a shame to know
That soon this season will go
And all that will remain
Is snow and sleet
Frozen noses, wet feet
Until it all begins again
