Holiday Poems: Christmas Poem for the Holidays

Lullaby of a Winter Brook

Cindy Lynn
Slowly moving, calmly grooving, sliding down the canyon walls
Softly bubbling, slightly tumbling, over weathered rock it falls.
Hardly splashing, never thrashing, twig and tree upon its way
Gently hushing, quietly brushing, snow banks there on Christmas Day.

Kindly moving, ever soothing, sorrows that around us dart
Sweetly bringing, meekly singing, peace unto the human heart.
Hardly splashing, never thrashing, weary souls upon their way
Gently hushing, quietly brushing, heartstrings there on Christmas Day.
