Holiday Tradition of Easter Egg Hunting

a
It is an Easter tradition to every year take eggs from the store and boil them. From there it is tradition to decorate the eggs in a variety of colors with dye for the eggs along with sticking stickers or what ever other decorations you want on the eggs. Some times you can also buy plastic eggs from the store which you can put different items in such as money and candy. But which is better?

As an Easter tradition I love is the boiling and dying of eggs, This Easter tradition is so great because it gets everybody involved including the adults. This is something fun that people of all ages can participate in. Even if you are not young or interested in the egg hunt that follows on Easter day after the egg dying you can still participate in boiling and decorating the eggs. The Easter eggs are also nice to look at once decorated you can also eat them right afterwards. The boiled Easter eggs should be good up to a couple of days.

Where as to some people tradition is to dye eggs to others they would just rather buy plastic eggs. Plastic eggs are good if you can not eat eggs or if you just like the idea of reusing the eggs or if you are interested in the ideal of putting smaller gifts into the plastic eggs.

Plastic eggs come in all different colors such as rainbow colors. The plastic eggs even come in camouflage print for boys. Plastic eggs are very in expensive to buy. You can buy plastic eggs for a few dollars at any store from a grocery store to a local shopping center.

When placing items into the plastic eggs you can place candy. Candy you can place inside of the plastic eggs can be anything small from hard sugar free candy to pieces of gum or little chocolate kisses. You can also place money into the plastic eggs from pennies to hundred dollar bills. Another idea for things to place inside of plastic eggs is clues. You can make a game with all of the Plastic eggs by placing clues inside that will lead to a bigger prize.

If you are unsure this Easter whether to go traditional with dyed eggs or to go store bought with plastic Easter eggs I recommend to do both. With plastic Easter eggs each time you hide the eggs you can put new little surprises inside.

You can actually purchase a very large container of plastic eggs...I believe that there was a couple hundred in the container, for approximately $7.00. Once you do this, you can buy bags of candy and small toys and place in them. When you run out of stuff to put in them, you can put change in them - pennies, quarters, a dollar bill, and so on. This makes for a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt. Additionally, we use them throughout the year for various school assignments like learning new words to make learning fun. It saves time, money, and sanity to do plastic.
