Ornaments, approximately $1.00 each. Choose colors that coordinate with the wedding colors- http://www.save-on-crafts.com/chrisorbrchr.html
Decorative ornament hooks or 1/8" ribbon, will be used to hang the ornaments when complete
Hot Glue Gun, many dollar stores carry glue guns
Scissors, a nice sharp pair, cut the ribbon ends at an angle to reduce fraying

Step by step instructions for completing your wedding favor ornaments:
1) Cut the ribbon into sections. One end will have the bride and grooms name and one end will have the wedding date. Always use a sharp scissor meant for fabric and cut the edge of the ribbon on an angle to reduce the possibility of fraying.

2) Remove the cap of the ornament by gently pulling on the metallic top. The cap is the metallic section of the ornament that attaches to the ornament hook or you can tie a 5" or 6" section of 1/8" ribbon through the loop on the cap to hang the ornament from once it is complete.

3) Wrap the ribbon around the neck of the ornament, criss cross the ribbon over in the front and secure in place with a drop of hot glue. You should be able to view the writing on the ribbon, if not, turn your ribbon over and repeat this step before glueing.

4) Put a drop of glue on the neck of the ornament and quickly replace the cap that was removed in step one.

5) Hang from a decorative ornament hook or use a thin 1/8" ribbon. Target usually has inexpensive decorative ornament hooks in their Christmas section and 1/8" ribbon can be purchased by the roll at JoAnn's, Michael's, or other craft stores.

Your done! You have just created a unique and memorable wedding favor.
