What is this Project?
This new project that was created last year for patients, who are stuck in the hospital during the holiday season and may need a little sparkle of hope to cheer them up during their journey. However, this project depends on the kindness of strangers and their donations, in order for this project to be successful to be in the local community. Each small gift and Christmas cards is meant to help the patients feel like someone cares about what they are facing as a cancer patient. On December 21, 2010, the volunteers will be visiting several local community hospitals and begin handing out the gifts to patients who are facing cancer's touch.
Who Can Help?
Anyone can help make the project a success like business owners and volunteers who want to donate gifts to these patients that may need to know someone cares about their illness. No amount of small gift donations is too small, since every gift will be used to reach our goal of visiting four different local hospitals that treat adults and children. Thankfully, this our second year of helping out in our local community, so the organization is asking business owners to get involved by having your employees bring in a small gift to donate. Take time to help someone less fortunate, who is fighting for their life and see how your one gift can truly change a life.

Conclusion
The Holidays for Hope Project is changing lives, by bringing the holidays to the patients and their families who are undergoing cancer treatment during the holidays. Some patients may be having complications, fighting side effects, or other health issues that make it impossible for them to be with their family during these special times. Thanks to the generosity of others, Laugh at Cancer Org. has been able to bring a little hope and friendship into the lives of the patients we meet. However, the project's volunteers still need more small gifts for adults and children, in order to help families who are fighting this devastating disease.
