Hollie Steel & Diversity Dance Team: Britain's Got Talent 2009 Ep 3
More Singing and Dancing to WOW the World in the 3rd Episode of Britain's Got Talent 2009!
First, what is probably the top act from this audition round. Hollie Steel, a 10 year old cutie from Accrington Lancashire, strolled on to the Britain's Got Talent 2009 stage in a pink and lavender tutu and ballet shoes, apparently preparing to wow the judges with her dance skills. However, she surprised everyone - most of all Simon Cowell - when she opened her mouth and belted out "I Could Have Danced All Night" from "My Fair Lady." If you listened to Hollie Steel's performance with your eyes closed, you would never have believed this tiny girl could have such a powerfully beautiful voice. And the judges all agreed - Hollie Steel received overwhelming praise and accolades for her performance and we are sure to hear more great things from her in future episodes!
Dance group Diversity brought the entire stage alive with their amazing variety dance act. It wasn't just dance skills - it was dance skills combined with physical comedy gags (who doesn't remember the slow motion race scene from "Chariots of Fire"?) put together into a truly engaging and delightful act. In his remarks addressing the team, Simon Cowell said, "It kind of feels like a second wave of something, something I've never seen before. I've never seen dance so imaginative, so creative, so entertaining." Well put, Simon, and I bet all viewers agree with that assessment!
This week, Britain's Got Talent 2009 Episode 3 (bgts3e3) added a fourth judge (Kelly Brook) in addition to the three regular judges of Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan, and Amanda Holden. They were also many more dazzlers - and duds - in this week's audition series of Britain's Got Talent 2009, so be sure to check my article about how to view full episodes of BGT 2009 if you are in the USA (or otherwise not in the UK) by clicking here.
