Hollock's Martial Arts Institute to Host Martial Arts for St. Jude Kick-a-Thon Event
Karate Kids Kicking for a Cause and Raising Money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
The Martial Arts for St. Jude Kick-a-Thon event hosted by Hollock's Martial Arts Institute will start at 12pm eastern time. Hollock's Martial Arts Institute is located on Route 940 at the Blakeslee Square in Blakeslee, PA. Everyone is welcome to come cheer on the students as they kick for a cause. There will also be raffles for prizes with the money going to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Last year, Sensei Kevin Hollock and students participated in the Kick-a-Thon event and succeeded in raising $1,500 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This year, some of the students have set new goals in an effort to meet and beat last years totals.
Students who are participating in the Martial Arts for St. Jude Kick-a-Thon at Hollocks Martial Arts Institute can be sponsored with a pledge per kick or a flat donation. It should be noted that $80 donated to St. Jude's will cover the cost of one complete blood count test for a St. Jude patient. You can make a pledge or donation at the event, through one of the students before the event, by contacting Kevin Hollock at 570-355-2091 or by mailing a check/moneyorder (made payable to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital) to Hollock's Martial Arts Institute. P.O. Box 1075 Blakeslee, PA 18610. The children of St. Jude thank you.

Post a CommentWe did a board break-a-thon for Ronald McDonald house last fall. It was fun and raised money for a good cause. It's wonderful to teach kids about fundraising and charity and even better that they have fun doing it!
Interesting idea - good report.
That is great for the kids and gread for St Judes!
