Holly Madison will join the cast of Dancing With the Stars, according to US Magazine. She is said to be the replacement for Jewel, who has been struggling with tendinitis of the knee. Although Jewel has stayed positive, and assured her fans that she will push through her injury, she blogged last week that her knee injury could force her to drop out of the competition. She issued a statement that said "Don't count me out, as I am in this for the long run." Sources say Jewel will appear on Monday's episode of Dancing With the Stars, although they have not confirmed if she will actually be dancing.

Holly Madison is her said replacement, famous for posing in Playboy, and being one of the girlfriends of Hugh Hefner. She broke things off with Hef last year, and had been dating magician Criss Angel, who she has recently broken up with as well.

In other news, Mariska Hargitay has been hospitalized again. She was hospitalized in December of last year for a collapsed lung, and was hospitalized again on January 12th for a related illness. She checked herself into the hospital yet again this morning, a rep confirms that she was "experiencing some discomfort relating to her earlier lung condition." The rep says she will undergo routine testing, and should feel better very soon. Although she has been dealing with this serious condition, she has still been taping for her star role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Hargitay received a Golden Globe nomination this year for her role as Detective Olivia Benson, but was unable to attend the award show.

In other news, Usher slammed Chris Brown yesterday for showing no remorse for his alleged assault on Rihanna, after seeing the photos of Brown laughing and posing on a jet ski earlier this week. Usher said he was disappointed in the photo, and "After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face posted by TMZ]? C'mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man's on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?"

Today Usher issued an apology for his remarks against Brown. "The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved."

Chris Brown's court date is scheduled for tomorrow, he is to be arraigned for the alleged assault against Rihanna in Los Angeles last month.

Chris Brown, whoever he is, deserves to go to jail. I hate wife beaters.
