Hollywood Celebrity Couple Break-Ups and Make-Ups in 2010

Relationship years in Hollywood are like dog years. Every year in Hollywood, counts for 7 years in the real world. But, in spite of a short shelf life, many Hollywood celebrities keep trying. Who have been some of the most interesting make-up and break-up couples in 2010?

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green

Have you heard? Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are engaged again! But, even that is misleading, because they never officially broke up. They just sort of broke up. They broke up from being engaged. Yeah, I know, it's confusing.

The soon-to-wed couple has been together since 2004, when their union officially began, shortly after Brian Austin Green ended a relationship with Vanessa Marcil,the mother of his son.

Of course, if you are like me, you may not even know who Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox actually are. Certainly, by Hollywood standards, Brian Austin Green is a relative unknown, though his filmography and career history is remarkably long.

Among other things, Brian Austin Green directed and produced several episodes of the hip night time drama, Beverly Hills 90210, in addition to also playing the character David Silver on the show, from 1990 to 2000. Not too shabby.

Megan Fox, on the other hand, has had a career trajectory that has been less about her acting and more about her drop dead gorgeous good looks. With a few minor roles in forgettable films here and there, Megan's breakout role was the 2007 blockbuster Transformers, where she played the sexy femme fatale, Mikaela Banes, opposite Shia LeBoef and Josh Duhamel. So successful was the movie she came back for a second helping in 2009 in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

When Brian Austin Green first proposed to Megan Fox they had been together approximately 3 years. Then, sometime in 2009, Megan called it off, though the couple never officially parted ways. That is, they continued to live together.

But, between marriage proposals and calling them off, the couple is engaged again and according to Megan Fox, "she's more in love than she was in the beginning." Which is certainly good news for Brian Austin Green. No word yet on an exact date, but Megan Fox said it could take years before the two actually marry. A lot more breaking up and making up can happen in a few years. , So, in the meantime, you can catch the lovely Megan Fox here in her underwear for a recent Armani ad campaign.

Jude Law and Sienna Miller

In 2003, Jude Law and Sienna Miller had it all. They were young, sexy, beautiful and in love. The only thing wrong with the picture was that Jude Law was married to someone else at the time.

Jude Law was still married to Sadie Frost and the mother of his three children, when he met the younger and perhaps firmer, Sienna Miller on the set of Alfie. Sienna Miller played a love interest and conquest for Jude Law's character, Alfie. Real life imitated art, and well, the rest is history as they say. Jude Law and Sienna Miller fell hard for one another. Jude Law divorced Sadie Frost later that year and in 2004, became engaged to Sienna Miller.

Unfortunately, their love story didn't turn out happily ever after. That's because Jude Law still had this nasty penchant for fooling around on film sets. Later that year, while in New Orleans, Louisiana filming the movie All the Kings Men, Jude Law had a torrid affair with his children's nanny, Daisy Wright.

As one might expect, Sienna Miller didn't take too kindly to the man she had stolen from another woman, fooling around on her. So, she ditched him. Jude Law went on to nothing particularly note worthy in either his personal or professional life (unless you count a love-child he conceived during a one night stand in New York City, while, what else, filming a movie) and Sienna Miller moved on too - with another married man. Oy.

In 2008, paparazzi shots of Sienna Miller cavorting topless in an Italian hotel room with the very married actor, Balthazar Getty, were beamed all over the world. Let's just say Balthazar's wife, Rosetta, wasn't as amused or interested in Sienna Miller's bare breasts as the rest of the world was.

In spite of the fact that Balthazar Getty's wife, Rosetta had just given birth to their fourth child and was still wearing a wedding ring, Sienna Miller refused to admit the shame in what she had done and held her "other-woman" head high.

As it turned out, taking the "high road" didn't do much for Sienna Miller's career nor did it endear her to the public. For many months after, she worked very little, suffered a lot of bad press, had her home vandalized with graffiti scrawled across her apartment wall calling her a slut. And to make matters worse, her married lover dumped her and went back to his wife and children. Ouch.

But, all is well that ends well, I suppose, which in this case would include the recent news that Jude Law and Sienna Miller are officially back on. Go team.

Whether they will actually make it to the altar this time remains to be seen. Perhaps if Sienna can keep her top on and Jude can take a break from filming movies, they might stand a chance. But, with the track record of these two, I wouldn't be betting the farm. Stay tuned.

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston

Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin, along with her boyfriend, Levi Johnston, cut a cute pair during the 2008 presidential campaign.

The ruggedly handsome Levi and the delicately pretty Bristol, sat dutifully together in support of Bristol's mother as she made political history as the first female Republican to run as vice president on the ticket with presidential candidate, John McCain.

But, the spotlight soon fell off of her charismatic mother and onto Bristol and Levi when it was revealed that the teens were expecting a child together - and they weren't married. What subsequently ensued would have easily brought down Goliath, much less, two inexperienced, unwed teens.

In spite of the fact that the country was in the process of choosing the next president of the United States, media outlets were far more interested in bringing down the politically conservative Sarah Palin. Having an unwed, pregnant teen for a daughter when you stand for good old fashioned family values was as good as it gets and the media hit hard and fast.

Though the teens tried to make a go of it, the pressure became too great. In March 2009, just 2 months after the birth of their child, Tripp, Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston split.

Unwilling to go quietly into that good night, Levi Johnston started a campaign of his own, which included slamming, mocking, bashing and ridiculing the Palin family in the media. Oh, and taking his clothes off.

Determined to parlay his notoriety and fame into a Hollywood acting career, the handsome baby daddy decided that posing for a nude spread in the February 2010 issue of Playgirl Magazine might just be his ticket.

Though it may have set the hearts aflutter of the handful of people who actually read Playgirl Magazine, it certainly didn't do much to endear Levi to the Palin family and in particular, Bristol Palin, who had been parenting and caring for their child by herself.

The mud-slinging seemed to go on forever between Levi and the Palins, but somewhere between then and now, Bristol and Levi have managed to overcome their differences. At least, that is what Us Magazine is recently reporting.

According to their latest issue, Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are back on and working through their differences for the wellbeing of their child.

RadarOnline.com quotes Bristol Palin as saying, "Levi and me are co-parents of Tripp and we are actively working on being good parents together"

And Levi Johnston adds, "Nothing is more important to me or Bristol than our son, Tripp. We are taking active steps to work cooperatively in raising him and in the sharing the joys - and challenges - of parenthood"

Well, that's good news, Levi, because when your son sees that Playgirl spread, there's going to be some serious splainin' to do.
