Hollywood Starlets Are Easy

All older celebrity males are beginning to take note: it's easy to hook up with a younger Hollywood star. Some of the recent reported hookups are Owen Wilson and Jessica Simpson and Ashley Olsen and Lance Armstrong. Why are these guys going for girls so much younger than them? Maybe these girls are giving it up too easy to help further their careers, or maybe they're getting desperate. It's obvious all this canoodling is only a temporary fix for loneliness. Perhaps these young starlets think being with an older man will result in a more stable relationship, but this just isn't the case in Hollywood.

The state of the relationship in Hollywood is a sad one. If you want to feel better about your own life, just look at the relationships of celebrities. Britney Spears ending up completely losing her marbles and her kids after her relationship ended. Lance Bass dated girls for years to save face, and even admitting marrying a girlfriend in Vegas at one point (though it does seem as if it might have just been for the hell of it). "Scary" Spice had a baby with Eddie Murphy, and he wouldn't even admit it was his! Sure there are celebs who make it work, but if you look at the majority of them, they have to be a little lonely. They have entourages and scores of people who would love to be their friends, but it's jus about impossible for them to find real love.

It basically comes down to a clash of egos, and there is always one celebrity in the relationship who is the more-famous of the two, leaving the other half to feel a little inadequate. So now many celebs seem to have chosen the fling-to-fling route. Why have relationships with other celebrities when you can just jump from person to person? It may be a good quick fix for being lonely, but eventually they'll realize it really doesn't add up to being happy.

A lot of starlets are making it seem okay to have a very large amount of sex partners. Lindsay Lohan even stated that she admired the women of "Sex and the City" for jumping from partner to partner with no qualms about it. Young girls who idolize these starlets are surely taking note. But if you look at the problems these starlets are ending up with, like becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol and getting in trouble with the law, it makes you wonder if all of the loneliness they feel is contributing to their problems.

They may have a lot of money and they may be beautiful and famous, but we really should give them a break. We all have problems of our own, and while it may seem as if they have it all, a lot of them do seem to be missing out on having a shot at love and ever being truly happy.
