Hollywood Undead Bringing Revolt Tour to Saint Andrews

Rap/rock band Hollywood Undead are currently out on tour in support of their sophomore album American Tragedy.

The album sold 67,000 copies in it's first week and debuted at #4 on the Billboard charts.

American Tragedy is the band's follow up to their debut 2008 release Swan Songs, which spent 53 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200.

Hollywood Undead's music is a mix of So-cal hip hop and punk metal and the album moves back and forth between the genres seamlessly.

From the dark ballad "Pour Me" to party track "Comin' In Hot", the band brings a heavier feel to their music that was missing on their first album and delves into more intense lyrics.

First single "Hear Me Now" is a tale of hopelessness, "Coming Back Down" a tale of losing a loved one and "Bullet" is a song dealing with suicide.

Despite the dark subject matter, the band manages to keep the feel good rock vibe that they are known for.

The band is headlining the inaugural Revolt Tour, which also features rock bands 10 Years, Drive A and New Medicine.

The tour kicked off in Boston on April 6 and runs through May 27 in Iowa.

The Revolt Tour will be making a stop in Detroit at Saint Andrews Hall on Saturday, May 21.

The tour follows a successful run opening for Stone Sour and Avenged Sevenfold on the Nightmare After Christmas tour.

Hollywood Undead has become known for their energetic stage shows and the wild masks that they wear on stage and the show in Detroit is guaranteed to be a entertaining time.

Hollywood Undead is J-Dog, Charlie Scene, Da Kurlzz, Danny and Funny Man.
