Hollywoods Baddest Badboy Has Arrived!

A Star is a star right? Well to be truthful it's the power that the star possess which determines how bright that star shines! Well Gary A. Sturgis is a new star that certainly belongs in the sky over Hollywood! His talent is like no other newcomer that I've seen on the scene in a very long time! Ok, not sure who I'm talking about quite yet? Mr. Sturgis is known as Hollywood's Newest Bad Boy. Playing the criminal drug dealer in Tyler Perry's Diary of a Mad Black Woman, And Daddies Little Girls. He is also starring opposite of Terrance Howard in a Lion Gate Production titled, Pride. In this movie, Gary plays a narcissistic drug dealer and pimp. Gary has truly given Hollywood a new kung -fu kick on being a bad boy.

This talented actor has been many places and has done many jobs that would make some Hollywood veterans resume look rather---well, weak! He has a voice blended of the finest silk and little nuggets of gold added to it, which gives his smooth baritone voice a little rasp to make the listeners or viewers connect and feel whatever it is he's is. He has even had the opportunity to perform voicing for several animated television features and shows including the Phantom Virus in the Scooby Doo feature film, SCOOBYDOO AND THE CYBERCHASE and he moved onward to voice the shadow villain, EBON on the kids WB cartoon STATIC SHOCK. Not impressed yet? Mr. Strugis has also done voice over work in video games like: TRUE CRIME NEW YORK CITY, and the popular trivia game, SHOUT ABOUT MUSIC. Okay, how about the fact that with all the strides this fine actor is making in Hollywood, his ability to remain humble and true to his art of being a performer is taken very seriously! Recently during the filming of Pride, Gary placed himself in a certain situation where I felt most actors or actresses would'nt have done. There is a scene in the movie where Gary and Terrance Howard are having a confrontation in the pool. Well, Gary manned up and did the scene, not being able to swim! Who would have thought that he was bold...Okay, crazy enough to do something like that. Well to make a long story short he almost drowned and his little secrete of not being able to swim was out! He was teased for a few minutes, but back to work they went. A few onset adjustments were made and Mr. Sturgis made it do what it do! Yall, know most actors would have been like: "Cut! Where is my double?" This just shows his determination and dedication to give the audience what they want. A REAL MOVIE EXPERIENCE!

Mr. Sturgis has dived into many roles and has had the chance and opportunity to work with some of Hollywood's finest stars. I personally feel there really isn't a role or voice over job that he can't do! Oh yes, ladies this man is off the market! He married his college sweetheart, Jennifer. A strong woman who also works in the entertainment industry as the owner of her own management company: GEM Management. It was actually Jennifer, who was able to present Gary with his first voice over job from a former agency (CED) she used to work for.
