Holy Week Services at Willow Creek Community Church

Willow Creek Community Church, in the Chicago area, holds several Good Friday and Easter Sunday services during the upcoming Christian Holy Week. Willow Creek members, regular attenders and church newcomers are all welcome to attend the inspirational services. Willow Creek has five
Chicagoland locations, in South Barrington, DuPage, McHenry, North Shore and the City of Chicago.

Willow Creek is an interdenominational, multi-cultural Church. All are welcome. Even if you haven't been to Church for years, or have never been to church, Willow Creek opens its doors to you. The large Christian venue is a non-threatening environment to explore the meaning of Christianity without feeling spotted out as a newcomer. Seekers are free to participate as much, or as little, as they are comfortable with.

If you have never attended a service at Willow Creek, it is really something to experience. The music and speakers present a professional level program with heart. Willow Creek services are Christian Bible based, inspiring, interesting and entertaining. The services of Willow Creek are far from boring. If you are questioning the relevance of Christianity in the world today, Willow Creek might just have the answers you seek.

Willow Creek will hold five identical Easter services on Saturday and Sunday. Easter at Willow Creek includes an inspiring message, music, drama and more.

The title of the Easter Service is "Make All Things New". Here is a quote from the Willow Creek website regarding Easter: , "More than 2000 years ago, Jesus smashed the power of death and gave us the promise of new life. The miracle that came that Easter morning has the power today to quench insatiable thirst, restore a dry and weary heart, heal a broken spirit, and rain hope into parched souls."

Willow Creek is a large church that offers free e-tickets for their services. Seats can be reserved in advance over the Internet. If seats are not available when you first check, check back later. Tickets are returned often and can be reserved up until the time of the service. Unused seats are released before the service, so even if you don't have an advance ticket, good seats become available at the last minute. The Willow Creek Main Campus in South Barrington tickets to the Easter Weekend programs are free. Tickets are not required for the Good Friday services.

Willow Creek has five satellite campuses holding Good Friday and Easter Services. The services in the City of Chicago and in DuPage County do not require tickets. The satellite campuses in McHenry and Chicago North Shore offer free E-tickets for the Easter Sunday services on the Willow Creek website. Tickets are not required for the Good Friday services.

Willow Creek Barrington Good Friday. Willow Creek South Barrington will hold Good Friday services in the Lakeside Auditorium. . The Main Service is a reflective presentation including Communion. Tickets are not required for the Good Friday service. At the same time, a Family Experience for families with children through fifth grade will remember and respond to the Good Friday story. Promiseland, for children, infants through pre-school age 5, will be available during the Easter services.

The Willow Creek auditorium hold 7,500 people. The parking lot attendants guide the traffic in and out of the parking lot efficiently. Please plan to arrive early enough to get a parking spot, get into the building and find your seat. Remote parking has shuttles that drop guests off right at the entrance. Handicap parking is available near the entrance. If you require handicap parking, let the parking attendants know so they direct you to the correct lot.

The Harvest Food Court at the South Barrington campus offers a variety of food for sale, cafeteria style. The Harvest Food Court will be open before the Good Friday services, but will not be open on Easter weekend. It is a good idea to get to the church early. The food court is a terrific place to get a bite to eat, or a beverage, while waiting for the service. Dr. B.s Cafe, at the South Barrington campus, serves coffee and snacks. Dr. B's will be open on the days of the Good Friday Services and the Easter Services.

Sign Language and Language interpretation will be available during selected services. Sign language will be available on Saturday at 5:00 PM and Sunday, at 9:00 AM. Language interpretation, in Spanish, Chinese and Korean will be available on Sunday at 11:30 am. Headsets for language interpretation my be picked up in the Main Lobby.

Easter Services are held on Sunday, March 23 at 10:00 AM. Tickets are not required. Promiseland, th children's ministry will be available for infants through Grade 5.
