Some women spend an insane amount of money to make their facial skin look as radiant as possible. If you have the means, that's wonderful, but those chemical peels some go for can be downright damaging to your skin. However, by simply looking around in places like Wal-Mart or K-Mart, you can find alternatives to such drastic measures at a fraction of the cost. Most beauty aisles have different types of facial masks available, each with benefits for different skin tones. And normally they cost under two dollars. The benefit to these is you can use them while you watch a movie or even if you relax in a bath. Also, the little packages dispense only the amount you need so you know you aren't wasting any product. Generally, the instructions are insanely simple: you just wet your face, place product on your face avoiding the eyes and let it heat up or dry. This varies depending on which facial mask you opted for. After the mask has dried you simply wash your face to remove it. That's all there is to it. Once or twice a week and your skin will be glowing. However, if you aren't keen on masks, there are also sea mineral face washes, such as the line Sea Breeze puts out. Each facial wash smells terrific, is gentle on skin and does a terrific job in softening even the roughest of faces. These are just as easy as facial masks, but, able to be performed every day as part of a good cleaning ritual. These you simply wet your face, lather the wash into a good lather and wash your face just like you would with soap. Rinse and pat dry with a towel. I'll guarantee that this will leave your face absolutely glowing and feeling baby soft.
Why not take a bath instead of a shower? Pin up your hair and just relax for a while. Make yourself feel good inside and out. Burn some incense, turn on some relaxing music or even just use a body wash that has a fragrance that you'd find relaxing? This is good anytime you need a pick-me-up. What better way to unwind after a rough day than to just rest in a nice, warm tub of water and almost literally wash away your frustrations. There are a massive number of body washes out there which each have different benefits. Some soften skin, some replentish moisturizer and some do both. I've found that some of the better products out there aren't always the most expensive. In fact, most of the time they're generic brands. Buy a loofa, they cost under one dollar everywhere and treat yourself to a nice bath with a slight exfoliation. That will definitely brighten up your skin everywhere. It'll even feel like a small massage too! Who doesn't love a nice massage? Even better: who doesn't love their skin smelling like Vanilla Brown Sugar (for example) after they're dried off? What an easy way to carry the relaxation of a warm bath with you than to have the fragrance remain long after the bath is over? Even nowadays you can find shaving lotions that have armoatherapy-like effects. Strawberries and Cream or even Raspberries. Who knows? Maybe it'll even make you crave one of those tasty treats afterwards.
Exercising and drinking plenty of water help your skin too. Not only that, it benefits your whole body and will guaranteed make you more beautiful inside and out. Sweating during and after exercise is also a good reason to relax in a warm bath afterwards - to remove those nasty toxins that have just left your body. While that's a good deal right there, drinking plenty of water will also help prevent you from getting dehydrated and keep your body and skin in top shape to keep removing those nasty toxins. It also can suppress your appetite, helping those who are trying to shed a few pounds to actually do Exercising is essential for everyone, not just women, but what a way to show you do care about your body! Eating healthy fruits with natural sugars will leave you feeling satiated for a sweet taste, but also give you energy to go throughout your day. Also, be sure to get enough sleep each night - if you don't your skin will look tired and you'll get those horrible bags under your eyes. What a way to make you look older than you actually are.
Dollar stores often sell makeup (as well as other beauty aids) at insanely low prices. In some places you can get compacts for only a mere dollar. Instead of stocking up on brand-name makeups, check around. Sometimes the generic brands are actually put out by the big names under a different label. These can be fairly good depending on what store you aquire them from. What may be a big name in a location like New York City may be unheard of where you live and be sold for the same cost as a generic makeup would. Such as Aziza. I've heard of it costing a fair amount of money in certain places, but in Dollar Tree stores every single bit of makeup by Aziza is only one dollar. Sometimes these stores even sell makeup that is brand name but wouldn't sell in the original store they were sent to. Shopping around for these deals never sounded so good.
Now say you've purchased your makeup. Remember, ladies, less IS more. Nobody wants to look like they are a recent graduate of clown university. If you're going to go dramatic, think small. A sassy eye-shadow can draw attention to your eyes. Never overdose on makeup - not only is it a horrible visual, but, not healthy for your skin. Remember, all that you put on your face may clog pores. Then you get nasty blemishes. Nobody finds those attractive.
This brings me to my final home beauty ritual. Perfume. I think nothing can make a woman feel more beautiful than a magnificent fragrance around them at all times. The right one for you will vary and definitely make you smile all the time. Almost like a perfect pick-me-up. It should be faint and definitely not over-sprayed. Remember, some people have allergies and you don't want half your friends going into a sneeze fit every time you walk by. Moderation is the key. Now say you've had a luxurious bath, facial and you're ready for bed. What better way to drift into a peaceful sleep than spraying a little hint of your perfume on your pillow or bed? Nothing more serene than feeling surrounded by your favorite aroma. Not only that, it's definitely more safe than trying to burn incense or a candle. We want you to be smoking hot, not your home.
Feeling beautiful is something every woman should experience. Not just now and then, but every day. It's not the clothes you wear, but it's how YOU make yourself feel good. And I guarantee, if you make yourself feel good and go out into the world with a smile on your face and confidence, others WILL notice. Just give it a try - you'll like what you see. Who knows? Maybe even that wonderful man you let get away will be stunned and come crawling back. Remember, to be beautiful you have to take care of yourself and above all else: Think Beautiful.
