Next tip is use Baking soda as a facial mask. First make a paste with a little water and baking soda then spread a thin layer on to face and neck. Let sit on face for 5 to 10 minutes. The soda acts as a purifyer and exfoliater for the skin. ( you can also use paste mixture on elbows and knees nad other rough areas).
Rinse with warm water and do a final rinse with cold. Pat face dry, DON'T RUB, then apply a toner, I use Apple Cider Vinegar and sometime I switch and use Hydrogen Peroxide as toners.
The ACV will help your skin get a PH balance, the Hydrogen peroxide will even your tone by mildly bleaching the skin if you have dark areas aroung chin and cheeks, this works great. Finally, ofcourse, moisturize. You can use your own moisturizer that is formulated for you skin type. Another at home moisturizer is Olive oil, put on a light amount at night rub into eyelashes to thicken and eyebrows to soften and moisturize. Olive oil will make you smell like a salad, but it is a great moisturizer and it's okay if you just do this treatment at night.
Next tip is use Olive oil as a deep conditioning treatment for hair. First dampen hair then apply big globs of olive oil to hair ends ( which are driest) let sit in your hair for 2 hours or overnight. Shampoo out and apply conditioner/ detangler, hair should be silky and soft and shiny.
Next tip is Baking soda again. This time mix a teaspoon of the soda with you regular shampoo and it become a clarifying shampoo. This means you can get out residue and build up that get on the hair from other products, oils, and the outside elements. Also ,your hair will be shinier because you've cleansed off the dullness, sort of like exfoliating your hair.
Next tip comes from using a household item- Honey. This item can be used as a facial mask diluted with a little lemon juce. This mask acts a a moisturizing mask from the honey and a tonifyng/even skin tone effect with the lemon. Mix these ingredients in a small glass bowl and spread onto a clean face. Leave on for 10-15 minute rinse with warm water. You may or may not have to tone and mousturize after this. If it is daytime and you are going out, apply a sunscreen.
Next tip is to use white vinegar as deoderant. The white winegar can be wiped under the armpit with a cotton pad or a spray bottle. This home item used this way combat odors and fight the bacteria that make the sweat have odor. You will still sweat but it won't stink.
White vinegar can also be used as a teeth whitener, By rinsing and gargling with it you will make your mouth very happy and clean and odorless.
Last tip -Petroleum jelly, use thus as a foot and hand softener. Apply only at night. Put a generous amount of the stuff on feet and then put on cotton socks and go to sleep. On hands just rub in a little bit before bed so it can soak in and then go to bed. You will awake with the softest feet and hands. Also petroleum jelly can be uses in place of mascara and eyeshadow when you are in a pinch.
Take a small amount of jelly and dab upwards and outwards onto lashes- will look like you have on fake lashes. Next, take a little jelly and swipe onto upper brow bone, the light will hit it a certain way and your natural arch will look like you spent hours creating a eye-popping look, when in reality you used vaseline and it took like 1 minute.
