I had to realize that having a goal of making money quickly is not very realistic. I wanted to avoid some disappointment so I came up with a plan of action.

What's Your Plan of Action?

After doing research and correcting any unrealistic preconceived notions, one needs to figure out if they have the patience to building up an at home job/business at a realistic rate of growth. When coming up with an action plan, consider some important questions: How soon might I quit my full-time job with my employer? Is my family ready for such a change? What are my finances and credit like? How will I go about marketing my new business? What kind of niche will I create in order to set myself apart from others?

Many other questions will pop up along this journey of self-discovery. Some will have easy answers while others will require some serious thought.

Once the preparatory questions are answered to the best of one's abilities, it's good to come up with (and execute) a plan of action. Unfortunately, 95% of people who try setting up an at home job fail within less than 6 months. You do not want to be part of that majority.
