For instance, we all have some kind of vinegar at home for cooking purposes. Take a cup of water and mix 3 tablespoons of vinegar. This mixture can be used for cleaning the cooking ranges, gas stoves and even the dishes. It leaves a good mild smell that is not toxic at all. The curtains, smaller rugs, cushion covers, bed spreads and bed sheets can all be cleaned with very little amount of detergent combined with half a cup vinegar and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. The lime and lemon juices are good stain removers. Any tough stains can be cleaned using citrus extracts of lime or lemon. It is an age old home remedy, particularly used commonly in India.

You need to spend a fortune on the expensive floor and dish cleaners. A paper towel and a mop are enough to be used with the home made organic cleaners.
