Home Made Valentine Gifts for that Special Someone in Your Life

Valentines can leave some feeling nervous and up tight.Thinking of that perfect Valentine's gift can become unbearable. I've compiled several suggestion's for those needing some extra help this Valentines Day.

Let's look at a male suggestion. If you want to get him something that he will really appreciate then personalize it. You can grab a plastic bucket or a paint pan or a tackle box for the fisherman and fill them with your guy's favorite items.

The main thing is to let your guy know that you listen and notice every little thing he likes or dislikes and make his day just as special as he plans on making yours. For the race car fanatic you can create a race car out of a box and use markers or print out a picture of a race car and glue it to the small box.

Next fill the box with racing stuff for your guy. A twelve pack of their favorite beer or some sun glasses for the next time he goes to the races. A T-shirt with his favorite driver on it. Any paraphernalia that fits the racer. Tie it off with racing ribbons or tiny flags.

The fisherman in your life will love a new tackle box. But spruce it up and make it Valentine fool proof with some extra goodies inside. Load the inside with some lures that you know he's talked about and put in a small coolie for the drinks on the lake. Adding personal items that the man has talked about will let him know you've gave much thought into his gift.

Do you have a hunter for a husband? Grab a basket and fill it with a couple of hunting magazines, camouflage gloves, a camouflage T-shirt or socks and a box of their bullets. You can also select an animal caller of their choice.

For women, men should listen carefully through out the year. Some women do not enjoy flowers because they die and they fill it's a waste of money. For me personally I want my man to be original and not fall into the same old rut that most men do every year and buy chocolates and roses.

Men you have an imagination you just need to dig deep and find it. Has she mentioned a perfume she likes? Does she wear lotion on her hands daily is it empty? Does she wear an old T-shirt to bed nightly and it's on it's last day?

The trick to giving the best gift that she or he will appreciate is to be creative, and yet giving something that has meaning can be useful. One year my husband gave me a bag full of movies, some popcorn and my favorite Turtles candy.

He knew I loved movies and my chocolates and popcorn just gave us the feel of movie night. Pick out his favorite musical Cd and a shirt or take him to dinner or if he suggest dinner you should treat him to dessert.

The most amazing gifts are those that cost no money. A massage for me is one gift I'll always cherish. For them to take the time to actually massage you and want to relieve your pain is reasons that you fell in love with them in the first place.

A man that acts out of his character such as if your a man and you've never cooked before and having her sit while you do all of it will completely amaze her. Show her you care by setting the table up add a candle and flowers and it doesn't matter what you cook she'll love it that you went through all the trouble.

Women and Men have for years fallen for the standard gifts that advertisers want us to buy. But if you choose to be different this year, listen to your husband or wife or your boyfriend or girlfriend and get them something that you know they'll love.

Take her to where you first met and ask her if she will be your valentine forever. Take the guy to where he first proposed or where you met him at and tell him you knew right then at that moment you wanted to be his forever.

These little small things will leave a lasting impression on your mate. Any one can walk into a store and grab a bunch of red roses but it takes someone special to use their imagination to test the limits and come up with something unique for their mate.

I wish all of you a Happy Valentines Day.
