Home Product Review: Flo Water Deflector and Protective Faucet Cover
The Flo Water Deflector and Protective Faucet Cover with Bubble Bath Dispenser Sounds like a Great Idea in Theory - Not Reality
Giving my 2 year old son a bath is not always so easy. I tried using the Flo Water Deflector and Protective Faucet Cover and wasn't extremely pleased. First of all my son would play in the bath and hit his head on the faucet. This product protects him from hurting himself That is the good part of this product that I do actually like. Secondly it is extremely difficult to rinse the shampoo out of his hair. This product lets the water run smoothly over his head without getting any of it in his eyes. The problem is that my son doesn't sit down let alone lay down in a bath so this part of the product is useless to me.
It does come in this pretty cool green fluorescent color which I thought would attract my son to the bath but that didn't seem to do the trick. He still wanted no part of taking a bath. I do like the fact that you can also add bubbles to your child's bath using this product as well. I think that feature will be more useful when he gets a little older and actually enjoys taking a bath.
I would highly recommend this product for your little one's bath especially if he/she already enjoys taking a bath. I know it has helped my with my son at bath time to protect him from hitting is head on the faucet, especially since he freaks out. The good points about this product was that it was very simple to install, just slip it over your faucet in one step.
This product is made by boon company. You could purchase the Flo Water Deflector and Protective Faucet Cover with Bubble Bath Dispenser at Target for a great low price of $14.99. You could also purchase from Amazon.com for a little more at $15.99. According to Amazon.com the product dimensions are 7.7 x 5.1 x 3.4 inches.
Overall for the price it couldn't hurt to purchase the Flo Water Deflector and Protective Faucet Cover with Bubble Bath Dispenser. Even if it just to protect your little one from hitting his/her head on the faucet, just like my son.
