Acne Home Remedies

For most of us, we got to the point where we said, "Enough of this acne." At this point, we began researching for home remedies that will be family friendly, cost-effective treatment for acne. Acne products seem to get more expensive by the year causing someone dealing with acne to struggle to pay for their skin condition. That is where home remedies come in. These home remedies have been tried by many people struggling with acne. Remember that not every remedy will work for every person as each person is different. I am a firm believer in home remedies and have used each of these.

Toothpaste on a pimple will relieve the inflammation. Take toothpaste and smear on the pimple. Leave overnight. In the morning, there will be less inflammation on the pimple.

Tea Tree Oil is a fabulous acne fighter. Take a couple drops of oil and smear on the areas of acne. If you have sensitive skin, make sure to dilute the tea tree oil with water.

Lavender Oil is another acne fighter. Lavender works to combat acne as it has antibacterial properties. Mix a few drops of water with the lavender oil and smear over your face. Your face will feel wonderful.

Yogurt can cure acne. Spread the yogurt over the pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads. Leave up to 30 minutes before washing face.

Cucumbers placed over the eyes are rejuvenated to the skin around the eyes. When you take them off, you will feel rejuvenated.

Lemon and Rose Water are helpful at getting rid of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, zits, and larger bumps. You want to use equal parts of lemon juice and rose water. Apply to clean face and let dry.

Aloe Vera will soothe the skin and can also work as an anti-inflammatory. As most already know, Aloe Vera is also an antiseptic for minor cuts and abrasions.

Oatmeal will cleanse the facial spores and exfoliate the skin. It is best to do an oatmeal cleanse at list once a week. To create an oatmeal cleanse, cook your oatmeal as normal. Add one or two tablespoons of honey, mix and let cool completely. Apply to face but make sure to avoid the eyes, eyelashes, and ears. You can leave the oatmeal mixture at least ten to twenty minutes. Wash face completely and dry face.
