If they keep coughing during a long period even after taking the medicines against cough and cold, you can serve them a steamed orange. The way to prepare this steamed orange is as following:

Step 1: Use warm water to wash and clean the surface of an orange;

(Don't peel the orange. Keep its skin on.)

Step 2: Cut the orange into 4 pieces and put the whole orange into a bowl;

Step3: Add 50g peeled ginger slices and 100g lean pork into the bowl;

Step 4: Add 180ml water into the bottom of your cooker;

Step 5: Use a lid to cover the cooker and turn it on high.

Step 6: When the water starts boiling, turn the cooker to low and leave the orange steamed for another 60 minutes.

Step 7: Serve the steamed oranges to the patient while the orange is still quite warm.

Normally, after continuously using this remedy for 3 days (each orange per day per person), the coughing and cold symptoms can be relieved.
