Cheap Acne Cures

I personally know how annoying and embarrassing acne can be. Sometimes the over the counter acne cures just do not do the job. Home remedies to cure your acne might just be the answer to your acne problems you have been searching for. Getting rid of pimples is a big deal and can put a big dent in your budget. With home remedies you might have the cure for acne right in your own medicine cabinet.

Zinc Oxide as an Acne Cure:
This one is my personal favorite and has shown some great results with some friends and myself. Basically you need to find a diaper rash cream that has 40% zinc in the ingredients. This is one acne home remedy you might just already have on hand.

Yes, you read that right, to get rid of acne put diaper rash cream on your face. I felt apprehensive about it myself at first, but I figure if other people put hemorrhoid cream on their face to get rid of wrinkles then I could try this to get rid of pimples. I also know that zinc can be a great all natural cure for colds and sore throats so I thought I would give it a try.

Baking Soda used to Get Rid of Pimples:
You can make a paste using baking soda and water to use as a mask on your face. Let that mixture sit for 10 -15 minutes and rinse off. It improves acne and makes your skin soft.

Another baking soda acne home remedy cure is to mix the baking soda with other household items. Mix baking soda with lemon to make a paste. This one may sting a little bit, so if you have very sensitive skin you may want to skip this acne cure.

Aloe Vera for Acne Removal:
If you are lucky enough to have an Aloe plant adding to the décor of your home you can snap a piece off and use it to heal your acne problem. You can also get Aloe gel in a bottle at the pharmacy to use on the pimples. Aloe works on acne because it is an all-natural anti-inflammatory that will heal the red splotches and it is a natural moisturizer. When using Aloe it can have an astringent effect on your face that will cut down on the oil production and can cause less acne in the future.

Those were just a few home remedies that can be used to cure your acne or greatly reduce the amount of pimples you experience. If you have another home remedy for an acne cure please leave it in the comments section.

Love these tips. I make an aspirin mask with crushed up off-brand aspirin, works well. Feel free to delete this comment & use the info as you see fit.

Great tips! I use aloe vera juice and gel on outbreaks.
