*Do not scratch your scalp, it could make the dandruff worse.
*Avoid using soaps, greasy ointments and creams. Use a non oily shampoo,which contains natural products that do not have any chemicals.
*Avoid dairy products, fried foods, flour, chocolate, nuts, seafood and sugar.
* Take supplements containing Vitamin B complex ,since all the B vitamins are needed to obtain a healthy skin and hair, Selenium, an antioxidant which aids in controlling dry scalp,Vitamin E which improves the circulation of the blood,Vitamin A which helps prevent dry skin and promote the healing of tissue,Vitamin C and Bioflavonoids, an important antioxidant that prevent tissue damage to the scalp and is a good healing.
* Use flaxseed oil, primrose oil as they help relieve itching and inflammation. They also promote healthy skin and scalp.
*Try these home remedies:
1.Add juice of half a lemon to 8 tablespon of peanut oil and massage your scalp.
2.Add 7-8 Neem and Basil leaves to 8 tablespoon coconut oil and oil it.Cool it so that it is luke warm and add juice of half a lemon and massge your scalp with it.
3.Add 1 tablespoon of powdered camphor to 8 tablespoon of coconut oil,boil this mixture,let it cool and apply it to your scalp.
4.Boil a glass of water with a tablespoon of calendula flowers,chamomile flowers,lavender flowers, rosemary leaves.Let it cool,add a teaspoon of vinegar and rinse your scalp with it.
