Toothpaste: Is great to relieve bee sting in minutes and reduce pain for more than five hours. Got a pimple place a small amount of toothpaste on the pimple before bed, by morning it should be dried out and less noticeable, but only use toothpaste in emergencies to zap that hard pimple.

Yogurt: Live microorganisms in yogurts help prevent or shorten intestinal infections. To get these benefits eat 4 to 6 ounces daily and choose brands that clearly state they contain probiotics.

Chewing gum: Yes you read that right chewing gum help prevent or reduce heartburn that awful burning feeling caused by a back wash of stomach acid into your esophagus and mouth. Chew gum stimulates the flow of saliva, which neutralizes stomach acids.

Dish detergent: If you've been exposed to poison ivy, liquid dish soap could spare you from the red itchy rash. The soap works because it strips your skin of the plant oils that's responsible for causing the rash.

Peppermint: A minty herb that's long been known to quiet the occasional stomach upset peppermint is now also seen as a powerful treatment for irritable bowel syndrome. Frequent bouts of pain gas bloating diarrhea or constipation that strikes as many as one in five adults.

Ginger: This gnarly root quells pregnancy related morning sickness and vomiting possibly because it blocks the serotonin receptors in the stomach that that causes nausea. Slice fresh ginger into a cup of boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes, than drink.

Vick Vapo Rub and similar tropical cold remedies may be more effective than a prescription pill against the fungus that makes toenails think, milky, yellow and unsightly; try applying it twice a day until the fungus is gone.

Baking Soda: You know you can cook with it and deodorize the fridge with it but it can also be used at an antacid just follow the instructions on the box. It can also be used to clean ear wax out of your ears. Take 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 2 teaspoons of water mix it together and have someone drip it into your ear. Wait one hour and flush the dissolved earwax with warm water.

Honey: Just a spoonful calms a cough better than over the counter cough syrup and no treatment at. Please do not give honey to babies under the age of one their immature immune system can't battle a bacterium that is in some honeys.
