Home Remedies for Pinkeye: Distilled Water
Take distilled or purified water bought from the grocery store and boil it. Dip a washcloth in the hot water until it is completely wet. Let cool slightly but not too much. Place the hot washcloth over your eye and leave on until your eye is completely cool. Do this without touching your eyeball. The steam from the hot washcloth is what helps the pinkeye. Do this three times a day and your pinkeye will clear up the next day.
Home Remedies for Pinkeye: Breast Milk and a Chamomile Tea Bag
Take some breast milk and put a few drops of it in your eye that is infected with pinkeye. Take a chamomile tea bag and warm it up and place it over your eye for 15 to 20 minutes. Do this three times a day until the pinkeye is gone. It should be gone within a day and a half.
Home Remedies for Pinkeye: Coffee Grinds
While making a pot of coffee, place some warm coffee grinds in a gauze pad. Place this over the infected eye. Do this a few times a day to help get rid of pinkeye.
Home Remedies for Pinkeye: Tea Water
Soak a tea bag in water. Strain the bag and use your hand to rinse your eye out with the tea water. Try to wash around your eye with it. Doing this two to three times a day should clear up the pinkeye within a couple of days.
Home Remedies for Pinkeye: Chamomile Flowers
Add one teaspoon of dried chamomile flowers to one cup of boiling water. Steep for ten minutes and then drain. Let it cool and use it as an eyewash or put it on a gauze pad or washcloth and use it as a compress against your infected eye.

To reduce inflammation, redness, and pain in the infected eye, take some fennel seeds and boil them. Use them as an eyewash.
Home Remedies for Pinkeye: Honey
There are a couple of ways to use honey as a home remedy for pinkeye. The first way is to put a drop or two of honey into the infected eye. You can also add three tablespoons of honey to two cups of boiling water. Stir this mixture to dissolve the honey. Let it cool and use it as an eyewash a couple of times a day. The honey has antibacterial properties and will also soothe the eye and help it heal faster.
