Home Remedies for Sunburn Relief: Oatmeal
Adding oatmeal to cool bathwater will bring relief from the sting of sunburn. Fill the bath will cool water, not cold. Add a 1/2 to 1 cup of oatmeal to the water and mix it in. You can also use Aveeno oatmeal powder found in the pharmacy.
Soak for 15 to 20 minutes to avoid drying out your sunburned skin even more. When you are done, let your skin air-dry instead of toweling off and don't wipe the oatmeal off your skin.

Put them in a blender or food processor and blend until they are liquid. You can add some water if they look a little dry. Pat the sunburned areas with the liquid potatoes, let dry, then take a cool shower.
Another method is to take the potato mash and put it on a clean piece of gauze. Place it on the sunburn and change it every hour. You can continue this several times a day for a few days until your sunburn is relieved.

Aloe vera is a time-tested way to relieve the sting of sunburn. If you have an aloe vera plant, break off one of the leaves, cut it open and apply the gel. Use the gel 5 to 6 times a day for several days.

Soak for 15 to 20 minutes to ease the sting.
