A lesson plan book can be purchased on internet or in a school material store. The Dollar Store carries a lot of items that can be used for the planning of Home school including a lesson plan book. Doing lesson plans for home school makes the job much easier. Also making the plans by the week works out better in case you get busy with something else and didn't have time to do them one night. Lesson plans also can be written for two weeks at a time. A plan can also be prepared for one day or a week from copies that can be found on the internet. But they are easier to keep up with if they are in a book. Also a book can be made from print outs by making several copies of the plan sheet and placing them in a one or two each notebook.

Each subject is prepared separate by the day. For example: spelling on Monday: would be written like this; Introduce new words, Do work at bottom of sheet, Write each word five times each for homework. Tuesday: Do work on back of spelling sheet, Homework study the spelling words for thirty minutes. Wednesday: Write a sentence with each spelling word, Study words for pretest tomorrow. Thursday: Do pretest. Write each word missed five times for homework. Friday: Free time if spelled all words correctly on Thursday's pretest. If had missed spelled words do test over. No homework. Each subject is done differently.

For example; Reading home school lesson plans would be written like this, Monday: The student will read pgs. 3-7 then I will ask questions, Homework- read for thirty minutes or next story. Tuesday: Read pgs. 8-11, ask questions, Do end of story practice page for homework. Wednesday: and so on.

Home school lesson plans for Social Studies can be written like this; Monday: Write the vocabulary words on page 4, then read lesson # one, Homework; answer questions at the end of lesson. Tuesday: Go over Monday's homework, Write the vocabulary words page 8 of lesson # two. Homework- read lesson #two, Wednesday: Do practice work at the end of lesson two. Write the vocabulary works for lesson # three, read lesson three, discuss lesson three, Do practice for lesson three. Friday: Discuss the three lessons gone over for the week to plan for a test on Tuesday,

(discuss again Monday for test) and so on.

Be sure to keep a the lesson plans for in some states the state can send someone in the Home school to see the lesson plans and attendance sheets. So try to write the lesson plans as neatly as you can. If the student in the first grade can read them, I am sure that they are as neat as they can get. Lesson plans are written in pencil so if something needs to be changed all needs to be done is erase it add it to the next day or so and go on. Home school lesson plan examples can be found on the home school wed sites. There are a lot of things that can help with home school
